All designs, artwork, information, and website content are protected by copyright laws. All copyright is wholly owned and reserved by Maya and Love. It is an offense to steal or copy any of the designs created by Maya and Love, in whole or part under any circumstances.

Maya and Love hold ownership of all designs, whether existing or custom. Violations of copyright on any of our content or designs will be pursued. We reserve the right to use any new custom design pieces for future layouts and may add them to our website for future customer purchases. The finished artwork files are not included in the customer orders and are not available for purchase.

Maya and Love reserve the right to reproduce any part of any work produced by us for marketing purposes. Unless strictly instructed otherwise by a customer prior to placing an order, Maya and Love reserves the right to use any design created for a customer as samples and can photograph this stationery for advertising in print, online wedding directories, across social media, and throughout website galleries.

Liability

All artwork and literary works supplied to Maya and Love is warranted by you for their copyright and/or licensing and you are authorizing Maya and Love to reproduce any of the works.

Social Media and Advertising

Maya and Love may use photos of your products in their own promotional material as samples of our services and products. This may include but is not limited to Facebook, Instagram, other social media platforms as well as advertising materials and our website.

Orders

Please ensure the email address you provide to us is correct. This is the address we will send your artwork proofs to.

Please ensure you have ordered the correct quantity and allocated for extras. We suggest ordering around 5-10 spares, for any last-minute additions to your guest list and keepsakes. We can not add to your order once committed to print.

We are unable to commence production of your order until we have received your signed proof of the artwork for your order.

Payment and Currency

Full payment is required for every job before the printing process will be commenced. You may make your payment via PayPal. All dollar amounts are in US dollars.

Turnaround times

Please read over our timelines and ensure you allow adequate time for us to design and print your order. You will receive your first proof within 48 hours (during business days) of us receiving your completed form. Please factor in extra time for revisions and custom design. Please keep in mind that design revisions and/or delays in feedback will affect the turnaround time of your order.

Once you have approved your design, the turnaround time for digital printing is 7-14 business days including shipping.

We always do our best to deliver within these timeframes, but please note that custom or complex orders may take longer.

Proofing & Proofreading

A PDF proof will be emailed to you for final approval before printing.

Please check the PDF carefully for any mistakes. Maya and Love will not be held accountable for any mistakes in the products after the proof has been approved. Any amendments made after approval and printing will incur an extra charge.

Please notify Maya and Love immediately if you notice any errors on your stationery once you have received it. If any errors do occur after approval that differs from your approved artwork, your order will be corrected, printed, and delivered at no charge.

Client error after the proof has been approved can be reprinted at the client’s expense. The reprint will be placed in the print cue at the time of second approval and will not be prioritized over other customer orders if the client is at fault.

Amendments

Prices include placing your chosen text into your chosen theme, and three sets of text amendments once your PDF proof is supplied. Further amendments will be charged at an hourly rate of $50 per round of change.

No alterations may be made once the PDF proof has been approved by email.

Custom Design

We do offer a custom design service at an additional fee based on your brief, and printing will be charged at the same rate as the rest of our invitations.

Please send us a clear brief including any inspiration you have in terms of fonts, imagers, colors, and style so we can save you from additional artwork fees.

Note: The custom design fee covers our design time. It does not entitle you to receive any finished artwork file that we have created.

Any designs Maya and Love create remain the sole property of Maya and Love. Our custom design fee allows you to make 3 rounds of changes to your design. Further changes will be charged at $50 per round of changes.

Fonts

We have taken a lot of time and care to ensure that the fonts we use match the invitation style. If you have a request to use a different font, please ask us for some alternatives that may suit your needs.

Personalization of Products

If you would like guest names to be added to your place cards/name cards you will need to supply us with an Excel Spreadsheet with all names typed exactly how you would want them to appear, eg. Joanne, David, etc. We will supply you with a blank spreadsheet upon ordering.

Please ensure you have checked spelling and spacing before you send your list to us. Any errors supplied by yourself will be reprinted at your expense.

Guest Addressing

If you have ordered guest addressing, we require a formatted Excel spreadsheet of your guests names and addresses.

Please thoroughly proofread all names and addresses prior to submitting your spreadsheet. If you require more than 5 address or name changes to your design proof, we will require you to resubmit your spreadsheet, and a $50 reformatting fee will be charged.

To avoid being charged the reformatting fee, do not send through address spreadsheets that are not final, and have not been thoroughly proofread.

Supplying Information

You can submit your wording via email or in a Microsoft word document. Please ensure that you have no spelling mistakes as these will be copied across.

For the wording, you can choose whatever you like, however, the amount of wording will be limited to the constraints of the design.

Supplying Images

Some invitations and Thank You cards allow you to use one or more of your own photos. Images can be supplied by email (preferable) or via WeTransfer. Please ensure digital images are high quality as they may be rejected if not of a high enough resolution for printing. We will assess images for lack of quality and advise if they need to be replaced with one of a high resolution as we use a different printing technology. Maya and Love is not responsible for variations in color, darkness/lightness, and quality to that of prints from other sources.

Maya and Love have the right to refuse images and/or cancel your order if we suspect your images may infringe copyright laws.

Colors and Variations

Please be aware that the colors shown on your screen, or printed from your printer at home may vary from the printed products. This is because all monitors are calibrated differently and cannot be compared to each other. The second reason is due to the nature of digital printing and cannot be avoided.

All of our stationery is printed digitally on high-quality professional machines. Due to the nature of this printing process, slight color variations may occur between products of the same and separate print runs. The printer, nor Maya and Love is at fault for this effect, it is a natural occurrence with this type of printing. Stationery may not be returned, nor refunded for printing variations as mentioned above.

To approve your proof, reply in writing to hello@mayaandlove.com.
Once your order is approved, we will commence printing and ship the order to you.

Minimum Quantity

The minimum order for For Save the Date Cards & Wedding Invitations is 50 units unless otherwise specified. The minimum order for the Menus and Name Cards is 50 units (with the exception of bundle orders). Please contact us if you require less than the specified minimum as there will be a fee that applies to depend on the actual quantity you require.

Stock Availability

Orders are subject to stock availability. In the event of supply difficulties, Maya and Love will inform you and discuss alternative materials or designs.

Shipping

All other packages will be sent by FedEx courier free of charge (with the exception of items larger than 24 inches in width and 36 inches in height).

Items larger than 24 inches in width and 36 inches in height will require a signature.

Maya and Love is not liable for any damage caused by third parties as we take great care in packaging your order.

Damaged or Lost Items

Maya and Love cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage in transit once the order has been dispatched. We will take the utmost care to ensure safe and appropriate packaging and delivery methods are used.

You will be supplied with a courier tracking number on the day that your package is collected, so you can track your goods.

Unless the Client has inspected the goods and contacted us in writing within 2 business days of delivery, the goods are deemed to have been delivered and accepted in good order and condition.

We will not be held responsible for invitation envelopes returned or lost by the Post Office after you, the client, have mailed them to your guests.

Cancellations and Refunds

Please choose products carefully. Due to the time and expenses involved in creating our products, we cannot refund payment once artwork has been commenced.

As our products are made to order, all orders are non-refundable and not eligible for exchange, return or cancellation under any circumstances.

We will not be held responsible for any errors with the printed artwork that was approved by you, the client. If a reprint of the artwork is required due to client error, the cost of the reprint must be covered by the client. We will replace any goods deemed to be faulty, but not provide credit. If your order differs from the proof you have approved, we will reprint your order.

Privacy Information

We respect our customers privacy. We promise not to disclose, exchange or sell your personal details to any third parties. Your information will remain confidential and will only be used to process your order or inform you of offers that may interest you.

Acceptance and Acknowledgment of Terms & Conditions

By ordering from Maya and Love and paying for your order, it is considered acknowledgment and acceptance of the above terms and conditions.
